YOUR JOURNEY WITH GOD

1 Kings 19:4 Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.”

We knew that God allows both bad times and good times in our lives. People primarily complain about negative situations because this is noticeable and make it difficult to move on. However, this is part of our journey to take, which God prepares for us in advance to experience, and there is no escape route to make ourselves hidden and freed from the sovereign control of God.

We have a long journey to travel to make ourselves complete in Christ, and it's a process of daily submission to Jesus. If you sense misled with your thinking and feeling, grab your map, the Word of God, and seek the right direction of your life with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Reflection Questions: In what situation are your having a hard time with your journey with God? How do you overcome it without compromising your faith in God?
